SCOPE OF THE ROLE AND BASIC PURPOSE
The position is designed to support the execution of projects within the Asia Pacific Consumer business, Skin Health. The role is to help manage and coordinate R&D execution of light to medium complexity projects in both innovation and life cycle management.
This will require:
- Assisting in End-to-End project management from inception to launch and ensure that projects are delivered on-time
- Assist with partnering with the other functions of the Research and Development team in Asia Pacific and Globally, manufacturing sites (internal & external), Integrated Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Commercial marketing teams, QA, Project Management, Technical Transfer, Global Engineering.
- Support product on the market and related consumers/customers’ requests
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment that complies with the company’s policies
The scope of key responsibilities includes:
- Assign, define schedules and track cross-functional tasks/activities to ensure that project progress within expected timings.
- Identify, monitor, communicate and resolve issues, scope changes that may arise during the project execution.
- Understand the science on skin health product and able to support our team in the Asia Pacific market
- Maintains effective communication and working relationships among project core team.
- Interface with regional and/or worldwide cross functional teams to obtain project relevant information for project delivery.
- Ensure compliance of our documentations
KEY MEASURES
The position will be measured primarily on:
- On-time delivery of new product launches to the market, meeting company quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Efficient & effective resolution of project-related issues
- Good stakeholder management in response, communication, and a positive and open mind-set
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s in science or any related field with minimum 1 year of experience
- Technical problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; can work with details
- Results-oriented and able to independently create and deliver
- Superior follow-up skills to ensure that actions are completed, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Prior experience working with multi-functional teams and is professional, flexible and open
