Project Management
- To responsible for the effectiveness of project execution, site progression and successful completion within agreed time, cost, quality and safety & health
- To map out master construction program and to monitor site work progression at regular intervals
- To oversees the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project on time in accordance to contractual/ agreed completion dates/ work phases
- To plan, manage and monitoring of Projected Revenue (S-Curve) and Preliminaries Cost within the approved budget allocated
- To ensure quality delivery of project in meeting Client’s expectations, Quality Mark (QM) and satisfying authorities/ regulatory requirements
- To oversees performance of safety & health and environmental aspects that in complying with relevant authorities’ requirements
- To manage and liaise with Authority, Architect and Consultants in all aspects of authority compliances and technical submissions/ approvals
- To attend all meetings including project progress, site coordination, technical, safety & health and any meeting related to project matters.
- To responsible for the monthly project progress claims and progress status reporting
- To resolve all site construction matters and/ technical issues during site progression stages/ phases
- To handle all issues with respect to variation of works order (VO) and extension of time (EOT) claims
Project Budget Control
- Ensure implementation of Approved Prelim Cost Budget
- Control of material usage/ wastages on site.
- Control of the usage of machineries/ equipments/ utilities on site.
- Control of direct labour costs in labour allocation and working of overtime & etc.
Technical Understanding
- Understanding of drawings, specification requirements and contract scope of works.
- Understands the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the Project Manager’s objectives.
- Lead in providing value engineering solutions wherever feasible and viable.
- Assist in evaluation and solution of potential field problems and reports to Project Director (PD)
