Roles & Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Address all technical and non-technical issues.
- Track and monitor items per contractual requirements.
- Submit and monitor technical drawings, method statements, and proposals.
- Ensure construction meets client and regulatory requirements.
- Plan short-term objectives to meet site progress.
- Coordinate, program, and monitor site work, materials, plant, and equipment.
- Align project objectives with company goals.
- Minimize material wastage and maximize machinery/equipment usage.
- Effectively manage the allocated direct workforce, including the number of direct workers and overtime.
- Follow cost-effective and productive construction methods without compromising on quality.
- Meet targeted work progress to achieve intended cash flow.
Technical Understanding:
- Comprehend drawings and scope of works.
- Understand implications of different technical choices to meet project objectives.
- Provide value engineering solutions based on knowledge.
- Knowledgeable in preparing engineering project proposals and method statements.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (recognized by PEB).
- Experience in leading a team or subcontractors is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly committed and motivated individual.
- Knowledgeable in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 years of related experience is advantageous.
- Candidates with comparable qualifications will be considered for the Project Manager post.
