Our client is a leading global insurance broker. They are looking for a Business Development Lead to join their regional team in Singapore, focusing on the Power & Renewables sector across Asia. This role involves collaborating closely with local country offices to foster growth opportunities and expand market presence in the region. The ideal candidate will play a key role in opening new business avenues and supporting management reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with brokers in-country across Asia to identify and pursue business development opportunities within the Power & Renewables sector.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners, to enhance business prospects.
- Drive strategic initiatives to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
- Lead and coordinate business development efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
- Provide management reporting on business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within the insurance industry, ideally focusing on Power & Renewables or related sectors.
- Strong network and understanding of the Power & Renewables market in Asia.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
