Business Development Lead - Power & Renewables

Our client is a leading global insurance broker. They are looking for a Business Development Lead to join their regional team in Singapore, focusing on the Power & Renewables sector across Asia. This role involves collaborating closely with local country offices to foster growth opportunities and expand market presence in the region. The ideal candidate will play a key role in opening new business avenues and supporting management reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with brokers in-country across Asia to identify and pursue business development opportunities within the Power & Renewables sector.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners, to enhance business prospects.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead and coordinate business development efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Provide management reporting on business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development within the insurance industry, ideally focusing on Power & Renewables or related sectors.
  • Strong network and understanding of the Power & Renewables market in Asia.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
  • We are seeking applicants within the Insurance broking and/or underwriting domain.
