- Manage the preparation and review of tax computations for corporate and individual clients.
- Oversee the filing of accurate and timely tax returns in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure all tax-related documentation and records are maintained accurately and securely.
- Provide expert tax advisory services to clients, addressing complex tax issues and offering strategic tax planning solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax advice.
- Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and industry trends to provide clients with proactive and informed guidance.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Coordinate and manage the workload of the team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Assist clients in resolving tax disputes with relevant authorities, providing expert advice and representation.
- Prepare and present well-reasoned arguments and documentation in support of clients’ positions in tax disputes.
- Liaise with tax authorities and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory services, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
