The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist on IT related issues like setting up of computers, trouble shooting, planning for IT resources, support event on IT and AV matters, IT asset clearance, etc
- Configures, tests, maintain LAN/WAN, wireless equipment, and related services.
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Maintain network, CCTV system, workstation, servers, and notebooks within company
- Reporting network operational status and managing projects.
- Create and maintain documentation, purchases, and services
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines/ Diploma with several years of experience in related area would also be considered
- Working experience preferably 1~2 years
- Meticulous, organized, able to prioritize and multi-task
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with users, vendors, and other IT personnel.
- Able to work both independently and as a team
