Job Description:
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities within the shipping and freight forwarding sector in cold calling and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their logistics needs and proposing tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to meet sales targets and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and exceptional customer service.
- Provide timely market insights, maintain accurate sales records, and contribute to marketing strategies for enhanced business growth.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimumof 2 years of proven sales experience in the logistics industry, with a strong understanding of operational coordination preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving issues under pressure.
- Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
