We are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager/Transition Manager to oversee the outsourcing of our IT infrastructure activities and teams to India. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, managing all phases from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end transition process of our IT infrastructure activities and teams to India.
a. drive all preparation work
b. co-design the transition plan
c. follow up the transition and define criteria to switch to the next step
d. Elaborate risk mitigators and key success factors
e. define the KPI to be followed post transition and more globally the target dashboard
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may arise during the transition process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to transversal streams such as Communication, RH, Contract negotiation
- Travel to India periodically to oversee and monitor the progress of the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Transition Manager in the IT infrastructure field.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure activities, including networks, servers, databases, and hardware/software components.
- Demonstrated experience in managing similar outsourcing projects.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to India as needed.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Manage 2 transitions managers and the end-to-end project. Back up the transition managers if required
- Consolidate, challenge and follow up a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend regular project status meetings, consolidate a steering view and provide progress reports to key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may arise during the project.
- Identify and take all necessary means to remediate any risk or attention points linked to the project
- Co-Build the communication plan
- Design the retention and relocation policy with the help of HR
- Assist ISAP during the contract negotiation
- Follow up with the stakeholders on regulatory and data protection /banking secrecy topics
- Co-Design target organization of CASPL (related to controls, governance, SLAs with our entities and vendor contracts)
- Follow up the budget with head office and ISAP
- Travel to India periodically to oversee and monitor the progress of the project.
