Support the adminstration department in a fast paced multi-task environment
The main gist of the job requires:
1) good interpersonal skills - in order to liase with customers/suppliers
2) Meticulous - to be accurate in doing quotation and contract creation, and data entry work
3) Good teamwork - to work well between departments
Detailed scope of work:
• Sourcing and managing local and overseas purchasing activities and services
• Obtain quotes from newly source suppliers to provide costing and cost reduction
• Raise Purchase Requests for both office supplies and site requirements - this will require working with the site engineers and office
• Ability to negotiate with supplier in pricing/complaints/shipment arrangement
• Coordinating with forwarders and prepare documents for outbound and inbound consignment on overseas purchases
• Manage arrival schedule and stock planning
• Receiving of goods from vendors and other company entities & correct unpacking & storage
• Regular follow-ups on POs, orders
• Control warehouse inventory and update master records
