Job Description
- To provide space planning / face-lifting proposal for new and or existing store.
- To inventory existing furniture and other items to be used.
- To provide the full cycle from developing a project timeline, to monitor store construction progress and to ultimately review the new store.
- To develop budgets for all interior finishes and furnishings, as well as budgets for interior improvements.
- Assist in material finish and furnishings analysis, recommendations, and specifications.
- Design all interior details.
- Provide sketches and/or presentation boards of all interior selections and furnishings.
- Review and coordinate furniture layouts with lighting and electrical plans.
- Liaise with architect/designer/principal /Landlord/builders and operation team to finalize designs to meet the operational requirement, and to ensure timely completion of store construction.
- Monitor the global concept owner’s manuals and fixture guides, and obtain feedback on the design of the store's project.
- Work closely with the Team to ensure high quality of design, while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Work closely with the team to deliver project documentation and tender preparations on time.
- Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team / Ops team to ensure the feasibility of the project.
- Review the quality of work on a regular basis to ensure that project standards are met.
- Project administrative duties including tender documents, and purchase orders and invoices.
- Support store operation in upkeeping/maintaining the stores and attend to any incident complaints.
- Support in any other ad-hoc duties and projects as required.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural/ Building/ Building Services/ Interior Design or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in construction and interior fit-out or joinery trade i.e carpentry fitments and doors.
- Experience in interior design or furniture industry is a plus
- Basic knowledge in AutoCad, SketchUp, 3D Max & Photoshop and understand construction floor plan and drawing details
