Job Description
- This role involves assisting in the planning, organizing, executing and implementation of Information Technology banking projects. You will assist in developing, maintaining, and supporting the implementation of various IT projects and programs.
- You will be responsible for defining project goals, managing internal and external stakeholders, building and tracking project timelines and dependencies.
- You will interact and engage with industry vendors for evaluating their products and solutions in meeting the required business needs.
- You will also be responsible for assessment and study of the various products, processes and make recommendations for vendor and their business solutions.
- As part of the IT team, you will interact with internal team to understand the current system architecture and assist in managing the project ensuring that policies and procedures remained aligned to the Company’s risk appetite, business and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Coordinator or similar role
- At least 4 years of direct experience working on coordinator role within the banking sector
- In-depth understanding of project management and stakeholder management topics
- Preferably possess Project Management certification and/or training
- Proven experience in project coordination and implementation programmes, systems and applications in the banking sector
- Understanding of project governance and budgeting
- Ability to work independently with hierarchy of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for project deliverables
- Preferable Degree in Information Technology or equivalent, in relevant field of study
