Responsibilities:
- Organise, ensure and manage the execution of projects based on the internal and client’s needs and in line with the contract, project plan and budget, in order to ensure client’s needs are met and project objectives are achieved within QHSE-S standards, within time and budget and with optimal results.
- Formulate a project plan, including deliverables, planning, budget and key functions, in line with the Contract Planning, QHSE-S standards and local laws and regulations.
- Define and compose a project team including accountabilities and expertise per team member, ensure the availability of the required means and delegate the project preparation and execution activities to the individual Project Management Team members, in line with the project plan.
- Manage or follow up the progress of the project, ensure the execution of the activities by the Project (Management) Team and third parties, take corrective measures if necessary, in line with contractual agreements and planning
- Validate the project reporting including the financial reporting, analyse non-conformities and complaints, identify and act upon opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications/Bachelor/Diploma or a related discipline (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
- With minimum 8 years experience in major repairs, conversions, and mobilization of dredging and offshore vessels
- In-depth technical and operational knowledge of specialized dredging and offshore vessels
- Possess high HSE DNA skills as to drive and lead HSE performance on site
- Have contractual management, risk management, stakeholder manager-knowledge and demonstrated experience as to negotiate and implement contracts / subcontracts
- Have high people skills as to lead a versatile, multinational team of staff and crew
- Be fully skilled in Microsoft office software
- Be fully proficient in English language (reading / writing / speaking)
