- Schedule appointments and meet new customers to identify trade routes and offer freight services.
- Conduct daily in-person sales presentations.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers through research and cold-calling.
- Provide professional demonstrations of freight services during onsite visits.
- Liaise with customers for updated freight pricing and new trade routes.
- Provide timely quotations to customers.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively.
- Update and maintain customer contact details accurately.
- Prepare sales pipeline reports and expense accounts, reporting weekly to the managing director.
- Follow up aggressively on business opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure cargo safety and billing accuracy.
