JOB TITLE: SENIOR EXECUTIVE (VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT AND BEFRIENDING PROGRAMME)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Senior Executive for Volunteer Engagement and Befriending Programme. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in recruiting, managing, and supporting volunteers essential to our mission's success. You will collaborate closely with residents, families, and external stakeholders to facilitate healing and transformational journeys.

The Job:
1. Recruitment and Matching
Identify and recruit suitable volunteers for Befriender roles, ensuring alignment with client needs.
2. Programme Development
Develop and coordinate programs intended to facilitate and support the reunification of families.
3. Volunteer Management
Responsible for overseeing the training and development of volunteers so that they are properly equipped, engaged, and supported.
4. Family Engagement
Providing direct assistance to families in the process of rebuilding relationships and supporting restoration efforts.
5. Systems and Processes
Provide effective systems for matching volunteers with clients and providing ongoing support, ensuring the success of the program and the satisfaction of the volunteers.
6. Risk Management
Protect the integrity of the program and the safety of participants by developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
7. Evaluation and Improvement
Enhance program outcomes by continuously evaluating volunteer management policies and processes.
8. Collaboration
Working with CSLMCH departments to integrate workflows and ensure seamless communication between units and volunteers.
9. Motivation and Support
Engage and recognize volunteers regularly to maintain a motivated volunteer base.
10. Documentation
Maintain accurate records and monitor program outcomes to track progress and inform future initiatives.
11. Coordinator
Working closely with Religious Institution ( Churches), Schools, Corporations and other Community Organizations in coordinating volunteer opportunities. These Institutions provide volunteers with a wider range of opportunities to make a meaningful impact. The objective of this collaboration is to create a more cohesive and supportive community by pooling resources and expertise. . Additionally, they strengthen the bonds between different sectors of society, fostering a spirit of unity and shared purpose.
Candidate's Requirement:
Preferred Qualifications / Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in volunteer management or community engagement, preferably in family services.
- Passion for serving the community and empowering volunteers to make a meaningful impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of both independent work and collaboration within a team.
- Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
