Purpose of Position
Represent the organization to provide operational advice & expertise in the form of customer service to ensure both internal and external clients’ requirements are fulfilled
Key Tasks
- Shipment milestones are promptly updated till the shipment cycle is complete. Example: Following up on POD
- Commercial milestones are promptly updated till the shipment cycle is complete. Example: Accruals, Inter-company Invoices, Profit Share etc. Accrue all relevant costs into respective shipment files
- Follow up on inter-company invoices with respective Destination offices
- Establish and maintain clear customer SOP/WI; Work and Drive the SOP/WI process with inter-department functions to ensure requirements are correctly fulfilled
- Set, provide and maintain reports according to clients’ requirements
- Forge strong partnerships with inter-department functional groups to achieve Department targets
- Ensure timely Job creations
- Check and assign cargo receipts to correct shipment file for self-deliveries
- Provide correct information to ensure Mawb, Hawb and Cargo manifest accuracy at 100%
- Ensure relevant documents and info is timely provided to prevent cargo offload
- Coordinate shipments from start to finish. Example pickup coordination with shipper till flight departure and/or POD
- Send pre-advice emails with correct documents to the relevant parties: Example customers and destination offices
- Ensure relevant customs declaration of all types is complete to meet AED requirement. Example COO, sub-cert etc
- Follow up PRS and set files to “CMP” once cost accrual and billing are done.
- Clear vendors invoice in WebCost timely.
- Follow up payment for shipment under Cash on Delivery.
- Good House Keeping: Ensure relevant info (Example: Emails, Shipping docs etc) are saved into e-Doc
- Proper checking on the shipping docs in accordance to Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)
- Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct policy of the DSV Group

Experience & Education
- At least 1 year in a customer service related field is advantageous
- Fresh grads (GCE/ITE/Diploma/Uni) are welcomed to apply
- Educational qualifications can be compensated by working experience
