My client is from the education industry and is currently focused on implementing new systems. They are looking to hire an Associate Director of IT Governance and Strategic Planning.
Job Description
The IT Governance and Strategic Planning (GSP) team develops IT policies and strategies to ensure secure, compliant operations and manages IT projects aligned with the Organization goals.
As part of the GSP team, the incumbent will handle IT Governance, including IT Policies and Audit Management, Project Portfolio Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Reporting & Analytics. The role supports the department's strategies to achieve the vision of a "Borderless University powered by Infinite Technology" and reports to the Head of IT Governance and Admin.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Policies & Audit Management: Facilitate IT audits, lead stakeholder collaboration, track audit progress, maintain IT policies, promote compliance awareness, and manage IT quality.
- Project Portfolio Management: Refine IT project portfolio processes, prioritize and oversee projects, evaluate ROI, communicate portfolio performance, and stay updated on IT trends.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Foster collaboration, articulate governance frameworks, manage stakeholder concerns, and build strategic partnerships.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate management reports, identify optimization opportunities, and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience, with 10 years in IT Governance.
- Strong background in IT Audit Management, Compliance, Project Portfolio Management, and Quality Management.
- Deep understanding of IT systems and emerging technologies.
- Ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in building relationships with stakeholders.
