Overview of Partnerships Team / Unit:


The Partnerships Team develops and builds partnerships and relationships that drive income to support WWF’s conservation goals. The team’s aim is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding from 1) high-networth individuals (HNWI) 2) trusts and foundations, 3) companies to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (mainly South-East Asia) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission.

The team works closely with the Senior Management Team and peers in Conservation, Communications, Sustainable Finance, and Accounting and Finance teams to effectively contribute to the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s partnerships and philanthropic strategy.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


We are looking for an enthusiastic communicator and experienced content writer to support WWF-Singapore’s Corporate Partnerships Team. The role offered will be a key bridge between the Partnerships team and the Communications team and draw on their respective inputs and strengths. The role will deliver corporate communications requirements from corporate partners and as such will handle the following:

Partnership Communications (40%):


● Work with the Stewardship Team’s to strategise on various communication offerings for partners

● Secures relevant approvals for all partnership communications to ensure that these communications and messaging align with WWF’s brand guidelines, tone, values and policies

● Manage partnership communications calendar with a full overview of all communications going out across key partnerships throughout the year.

● Collaborate with the Digital team to identify opportunities to feature or acknowledge key partners within the relevant marketing campaigns

● Support the team in visual creation and edits, where possible (powerpoint presentation,videos, event posters, etc.

Conservation Impact Communication (30%)

● Craft narratives that effectively convey the importance of conservation efforts, biodiversity, and environmental sustainability.

● Work closely with conservation leads, field experts, and the internal marketing team to gather information, data, and visuals for content creation.

● Develop engaging written content for various platforms including website articles, social media posts, etc. that align with our conservation goals and resonate with our audience.

● Produce high-quality video content including short docuseries, and educational videos that highlight our conservation projects, initiatives, and success stories.

● Stay informed about current trends, developments, and news related to conservation and environmental issues.

● Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar outlining the schedule for social media posts, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content across all platforms.


Project Delivery (30%):


● Develop briefs and work with various agencies and/or teams to deliver communication assets such as partnership videos and donor reports

● Collaborate well and maintain harmonious relationships with all stakeholder groups, including Programme Teams. As the role cuts across various Programme Teams and Communications Team, it is critical to work closely with various Programme Leads to obtain the relevant information


Profile

Required Qualifications:


● Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, political science, or related field

● Minimum 3-4 years of experience in communications, public relations (Diploma)

● Previous work experience in an international NGO sector preferred and in developing corporate and donor communications will be an advantage

● Outstanding verbal and written English expression, including an ability to craft language and tone for all required collaterals and communications materials, in accordance to the brand guidelines with attention to detail and correct grammar

● Proven experience in video editing, with proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).


Required Skills and Competencies:


● Ability to plan workload, estimate timelines accurately and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: verbal and written

● Solution-oriented and ability to work with colleagues in person and virtual locations

● Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects while meeting the needs of project partners and stakeholders

● Ability to work in an international and multilingual environment is essential


Working Relationships:


Internal – Ensures intra and inter-department collaboration for the optimal use of resources and organisational alignment. Works closely with the Partnerships Team, and the wider Fundraising, Conservation and Communications Team to ensure partnership deliverables and engagements are executed in a timely manner.


External – Works with various partners supporting WWF’s work. Coordinates with external vendors relating to engagements, communication materials and as and when required.
