Position: Sales Manager

Location: Singapore

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets for construction products and services. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager plays a critical role in the firm's growth by expanding the customer base and increasing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
    Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
    Set sales targets, KPIs, and forecast sales volumes.
  2. Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    Understand client needs and provide solutions that align with their requirements.
    Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins.
  3. Team Leadership:Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets.
    Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback and coaching.
    Ensure the team has the necessary resources and knowledge to succeed.
  4. Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
    Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to generate leads.
    Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and project management, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  5. Sales Operations:Oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract signing.
    Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
    Prepare regular sales reports and present them to senior management.
  6. Market Analysis:Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape.
    Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform business strategies.
    Monitor economic and industry trends that may impact sales and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry or a related field. Prior experience in a managerial role is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including market trends, regulatory environment, and key players.
  • Attributes: Results-driven, strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require travel within Singapore to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • The Sales Manager may also be required to work outside regular office hours to accommodate client schedules or meet project deadlines.
