What you will be working on

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic internal communications plans to keep employees well-informed and engaged.
  • Create compelling content across various formats, including articles, social media posts, and videos.
  • Manage, optimise and analyse the effectiveness of communication platforms such as Telegram, Intranet and digital screens, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and manage employee recognition initiatives to acknowledge outstanding contributions.
  • Administer the Board’s annual Excellence Awards for employees, including criteria review, submission evaluation, and event coordination.
  • Organise company-wide events and activities to foster team building and a positive work environment.
  • Assess user needs and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the intranet's functionality and user experience, as well as resolve technical issues.
  • Oversee the annual Recall Exercise to assess organisational communication effectiveness during crises.

What we are looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.

  • Relevant experience in employee engagement, internal communications, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of internal communications best practices to create content that resonates with employees and effectively addresses their needs.
  • Experience in developing and managing employee recognition initiatives and administering awards programs.
  • Proven event planning and project management skills, with creativity in developing innovative and engaging staff activities.
  • Strong analytical abilities to manage, optimise, and analyse the effectiveness of communication platforms and strategies.
  • Basic skills in graphic design, video production and editing, coupled with a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Proactive individual and a self-starter, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
