Serangoon Gardens Country Club is seeking an energetic and driven Membership Sales and Relations Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving membership growth through effective sales strategies, fostering relationships with current and prospective members, and ensuring an exceptional member experience through events and activities.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
Membership Sales
- Develop and implement strategic plans to attract new members to the club.
- Conduct tours of the club facilities for prospective members.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and referrals to convert prospects into members.
- Maintain a database of potential members and track progress in the sales cycle.
- Prepare and present membership proposals and contracts.
Events and Member Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all membership-related inquiries and concerns.
- Address and resolve member issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Organize and attend member events, functions, and activities to promote engagement and community
- Execute and deliver events from idea conception to implementation.
- Survey and research, project coordination, drafting programmes, producing content, managing vendor relationships and stakeholder communications, managing budgets etc.
Marketing and Outreach
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create promotional materials and campaigns aimed at increasing membership.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to reach potential members through various channels (social media, email, events, etc.).
- Represent the club at local events and networking opportunities to increase visibility and attract new members.
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor and report on membership sales performance, providing regular updates to the Head of Department.
- Analyze membership trends and feedback to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of all membership transactions and communications.
Job Requirements:
- Recognised University Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, lead generations and relationship building
- Possess event management and partnership relationship management or where relevant and equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and negotiation skills
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record in meeting targets
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service
