Role & Responsibilities
As a member of the Advocacy & Communications (A&C) team, the Outreach & Events Executive is responsible for:
1. Outreach Planning and Execution:
- Manage requests and solicit for advocacy talks and participation in outreach and patient advocacy events from corporate and community partners
- Manage awareness talks and outreach booth activity calendar and scheduling
- Manage the outreach events life cycle, securing budget approvals, and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- Liaise with event organizers, venue logistics partners, and source speakers for targeted topics.
- Coordinate with the Programs & Services team to drive participants of outreach activities to register for screenings, with a priority to the Community Mammobus Programme activation.
2. Event Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion.
- Manage logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and participant registration.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless event execution.
- Evaluate and report on the success of events, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Communication and Engagement:
- Prepare educational materials on various platforms, staying informed about current breast cancer-related information globally.
- Conduct breast cancer awareness talks to corporations and community organizations when necessary.
- Collaborate with BCF advocates, identifying and engaging them in advocacy programs.
4. Media Platform Engagement:
- Work with PR & Comms team member to use appropriate skills and tools to share impactful stories on media platforms.
- Identify and work with volunteer medical speakers on content and technical requirements during advocacy initiatives.
- Conceptualize, propose, plan, and execute online digital marketing campaigns together with Digital & Performance Marketing team member.
5. Other Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary education in Mass Communications, Marketing, or related field OR minimum of 3 years of experience in outreach and event management for consumer retail roadshows.
- Proven track record in planning and executing successful outreach programs and events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with social media and other communication platforms.
- Comfortable with on-ground, hybrid and virtual event formats.
- Previous experience in healthcare or non-profit sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in languages other than English is an advantage.
