Summary
As a member of the Corporate Access team, you will work closely with the equities sales team, research analysts and global corporate access teams for the origination and execution of Japanese corporate non-deal roadshows, virtual group meetings and corporate access related events globally. You will take ownership of the day-to-day coordination between equities sales team/corporate access teams and Japanese corporates.
Responsibilities
- Monitor corporate access demand for secondary equity markets and coordinate with the corporate access team in each region
- Work closely with research analysts and corporate access/equities sales team to manage corporate access activities
- Engage with Japanese corporates directly to strengthen Mizuho corporate partnerships
- Conduct and support marketing activities organized by regional head of sales and/or regional corporate access heads to Japanese corporates
- Arrange meetings and provide logistic support for Japanese corporates
- Develop and utilize technology to enhance the management of the corporate access process
- Engage with the sales teams across the regions to obtain current overseas investors sentiment and understanding of their needs, providing Japanese corporates with market trends and market perceptions in order to further deepen existing relationships
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Access within financial services covering global markets and Japanese clients
- Advanced language proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and spoken) is required due to frequent detailed communication with Japanese clients.
- Knowledge of Japanese and global equity investors is required
