Prince’s Landscape is seeking a dynamic & motivated Sales Engineer, Irrigation.You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the client base of our landscaping services. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and ultimately contributing to the overall success of our landscaping business. Your primary focus will be on generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Role Duties:
The Irrigation sales Engineer reports to the Department Manager and Sales BUM for Irrigation
He/ She works with the client, the Department manager, the Head of Operations, the Designers, IPMS, SED, Finance and HR and the Execution team + Contractors / Suppliers involved in the execution
To ensure high level job processes;
To deliver according to, or even exceed expectations, and maintain the customer relationship to the fullest
Ensuring good planning, budgets and margins.
General
- make sure protocols and processes, as described in the company’s workflow, are followed by every party involved
- make clear agreements with the stakeholders
- taking care of reports required by the stakeholders
Preparation
- double check all details; from design, up to products to planning and follow up on action points
Post project
- Take care of evaluations (internal and with client)
· Social skills with a passion to sell Irrigation, Green walls, pond maintenance and related maintenance works
· Representative of the company and ownership of the projects assigned or designated
· A commercial mind-set, initiative, independent and flexible attitude in terms of work timings if required and always going the extra mile
· Precise and dedicated to quality in every aspect of the job;
· To be able to do irrigation calculations and
· Understanding customers’ needs and requirements and taking a challenge in meeting – or exceeding them;
· Fluent in both verbal and written English
· Able to visit landscape sites, analyse and plan the irrigation layout and design
· Able to explain the Irrigation or green wall plan or design to the client and convince, be flexible on the client’s requirements if the design allow
· Arrive at irrigation and green wall costings and price considering manpower, material, logistics and time -delay costs
· Able to read drawings, find out areas of irrigation and green walls or other landscape requirements
· Attending to the calls of customers promptly and sending quotations on time
· Ability to read and understand tender requirements and comply when quoting
Candidate Profile:
· A degree or Diploma with engineering background is preferred for this job as the job involves calculations and designs
· Autocad knowledge is required for basic calculations
· Photoshop knowledge is required for basic visual designs
· Must have basic computer skills, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
