Job Description
You will implement effective go to market model for the Modern Trade channel; Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, sales merchandisers and promoters to achieve sales and business objectives. Working closely with trade marketing / marketing to execute and roll out trade plans and activities. Ensure our brands and products are well represented at the stores.
Key Job Responsibilities
Commercial
· Improve sales coverage efficiency via understanding and analysis of data.
· Maximize/Improve ROI via new initiatives/negotiations.
· Work with marketing team to ensure trade executions.
· Provide feedback on sales/operation issues, competitor's promotion/pricing, and market sentiments.
· Responsible for all sales/trade activities on assigned outlets.
· Execute Sales & Merchandising especially FIFO.
· Build, Maintain, and enhance good relationships with existing and new customers.
Competition
· Provide timely, accurate, market intelligence to formulate pricing strategy and implement approved pricing structure on all company products, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Operations
· Provide guidance and cascades company direction into actionable in store activities for sales & merchandising team.
· Other ad hoc duties assigned.
Key Requirements
· Diploma Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines.
· Valid class 3 license and possess own car.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the modern trade from the FMCG industry.
- Have in-depth knowledge of RTM models for supermarkets and convenience stores.
- Experience in developing strategies and plans to drive sales at store levels.
- Hands on project management skillset and disciplines to manage and drive topline.
- Independent, strong team player, mature, strong analytical and concept crafting skills, good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and management skills Have eye for details, hands-on and able to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc)
