Our client, a leading Multinational American Technology company, is looking for a seasoned professional to join their regional Finance team. The role requires a balance between meticulous detail orientation and the agility to support rapid business expansion. We need someone who can demonstrate strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory financial statements for a designated portfolio of APAC entities.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key external vendors involved in financial statement preparation, and review the work of outsourced partners.
- Oversee and coordinate the audit process with statutory auditors.
- Prepare and/or review tax-related balance sheet reconciliations monthly and quarterly for US GAAP close for assigned APAC entities.
- Lead initiatives to enhance and transform the statutory compliance process by identifying opportunities, designing, testing, and implementing new tools and procedures.
- Monitor and manage activities, status, and planning for APAC statutory audits in collaboration
- Work with cross-functional partners within and outside Finance to achieve Accounting Team objectives, including providing support for finance management through ad hoc financial analyses or special projects.
- Oversee end-to-end vendor contracting and billing processes, handling queries or issues as they arise and tracking them through to resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners both internal and external, to effectively design and manage execution of contracting project plans.
- Fully manage tasks related to contract execution and purchase order issuance, including status tracking, risk assessment, and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement for the team's benefit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recognized accounting qualification (CA, ACCA).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a fast-growing multinational company or professional services
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects on time, particularly under tight deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in G-Drive and MS Excel.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Ability to work with high autonomy and experience in implementing and enhancing business processes and systems.
- Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strategic perspective.
