Purpose of the Job
· As the Digital Marketing Strategy and Creatives Head, your role is pivotal in driving Samsung's digital marketing efforts in the Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) region.
· Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing, you will lead a team responsible for crafting and executing innovative digital strategies that enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue
· Drawing insights from our consumers and external industry players, you will define the strategic roadmap for digital marketing excellence, elevating our Paid and Owned Marketing approaches.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership and Planning (15%)
o Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to the SEAO region, leveraging industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive insights.
o Lead the exploration of emerging communication platforms and consumer trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
o Define audience segmentations, communication strategies, and contact plans to personalize marketing communications and optimize customer engagement.
o Present strategic recommendations, market insights, and competitive analyses to senior leadership, guiding decision-making and resource allocation.
o Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
o Define team members' goals and career development plans, mentoring and empowering them to maximize their potential and drive impactful results.
o Provide comprehensive business and team reports to drive transparency and accountability.
· Multichannel Marketing Strategy and Execution (15%)
o Develop and implement multichannel marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive brand awareness across various touchpoints, with a focus on CRM and direct marketing channels.
o Drive regional cross-business unit campaign initiatives, ensuring cohesive execution and maximizing campaign effectiveness.
o Direct and collaborate with agency creative and content teams to develop compelling campaign assets tailored to different channels and audience segments.
o Implement data-driven approaches to personalize marketing communications and improve customer retention and loyalty.
· Data Marketing and CRM Strategy (30%)
o Develop and execute 1P audience strategy and plan, defining target audiences and segmentation strategies for effective acquisition and retention.
o Lead strategy and creative brief development, consolidating feedback from subsidiaries and regional teams, ensuring consistent execution by agencies.
o Oversee CRM creative development and publishing, aligning with brand guidelines and campaign objectives to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
o Manage market calendar planning and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, optimizing campaign performance across channels.
o Facilitate communication between regional and global teams, ensuring alignment with overarching strategies and objectives.
o Provide monthly market governance support, disseminating RHQ monthly calendar to subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with regional priorities for effective strategic initiatives.
o Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies, leading integrated campaigns aligned with brand objectives and customer insights.
o Drive owned and paid CRM strategies, overseeing consistent execution across touchpoints to enhance customer experiences and interactions.
o Optimize campaign performance through market calendar planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional priorities.
· Loyalty Programme and Community Activation (20%)
o Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of an overarching brand loyalty strategy to increase customer engagement, boost retention, and maximize sales
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive integration of marketing efforts with business objectives and sales programmes.
o Manage Samsung Rewards and Members Store marketing activities, driving engagement and participation through targeted campaigns and promotions.
o Lead loyalty programs and Post Purchase Experience strategies, defining content strategies, and overseeing the creative publishing and copy writing process.
o Drive community activation efforts to engage members and drive brand advocacy.
· Campaign Oversight and Performance Analysis (10%)
o Monitor campaign performance and conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
o Derive actionable insights to optimize future campaigns and improve overall performance.
o Collaborate with the Performance and Operations Lead to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
· Team and Stakeholder Management (10%)
o Team reporting and Budget Management.
o Prepare strategic business reporting decks, present strategy proposals & campaign plans to stakeholders, gaining buy-in alignment.
o Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on campaign performance and strategic initiatives and project progress
o Strict management of team budget and maintain strong vendor performance/relationships.
o Ensure compliance with Samsung finance processes and timelines.
