Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. With a potential expansion into Thailand, fluency in Thai is required to facilitate communication and operations in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Management: Lead the planning and execution of various events, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and objectives, and providing creative and logistical solutions to meet those goals.
- Vendor Coordination: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses, processing invoices, and ensuring financial efficiency.
- On-site Management: Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and attendees.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and successful event delivery.
- Market Research: Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to enhance our event offerings.
- Expansion Planning: Assist in the potential expansion into Thailand by conducting market research, building relationships, and facilitating operations in the region.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of successful event execution.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Thai is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:Strong organizational and project management skills.
