Company Transport Provided :Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Punggol, Sengkang, Tampines, Tanah Merah.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to all import and export requests.
- Coordinate with shipper on arrangements for collection and other export-related issues.
- Establish rates and arrange air approval in coordination with the destination and sales offices.
- In relation to COD payments or client accounts that have beyond their credit limit, collaborate with the finance staff.
- Work together with vendor management to arrange for the collection of payments.
- Organise the flight schedule in consultation with the air freight planner.
- Assist the import team in arranging for the shipment to be exported again.
- For all export permit applications, collaborate with the permit department.
- Work along with the warehouse staff to arrange for the acceptance, release, packing, sorting, and/or storing of any cargo.
- Collaborate with outside providers to complete activities like as fumigation, DG packaging, and crating.
coordinating the delivery of shipment instructions with the export operations staff. - Support the manager handle the everyday operational problems or enquiries for the staff.
- Supporting departmental projects for the manager.
- Assist the manager establish a new account.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
- Experience in Freight Forwarding (Air Freight/Export)
- Strong personal presence and credibility, complemented by excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
