Contract Period: 1 Nov 2024 to 31 Oct 2025 with option to extend until 31 Oct 2026
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 6.00am to 3:00pm or 10.00am to 7.00pm, inclusive of half hour lunch break. Early release of half hour for 1 day whithin the week
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Job Description:
- Ensure classrooms, special rooms, and common areas are kept clean and orderly: Cleaning, tidying up, and coordinating with janitorial staff
- Security of Classrooms and Common Rooms: Locking and unlocking doors and windows
- Operate and monitor security alarm system: Arming it during non-operational hours and disarming it when authorized personnel need access
- Maintain Security and Vigilance: Identify strangers or suspicious individuals on school premises
- Direct and Accompany Visitors/Contractors: Direct them to the appropriate offices or locations, ensure that they are not wandering around unsupervised
- Gate and Traffic Warden Duties: During peak hours, manage the school gate and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic
- Support for School Events: Assist teaching staff and other school personnel in logistics and arrangements for school events - set up classrooms, arrange equipment, coordinate with event vendors
- Other Assigned Duties: As assigned by the SLs, Administration Manager (AM) and Operations Manager (OM)
Job Requirements:
- Minimum PSLE Certificate.
- Good team player and able to speak simple English
- Preferably have some working experience in schools and able to handle physical duties such as carrying tables and chairs etc.
