Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team, specializing in cleaning robots. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and customer satisfaction of our advanced cleaning robot technology.
Responsibilities:
*This role may require you to travel around different countries in the Asia region.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support during onsite sales trials and demonstrations, ensuring potential customers fully understand the capabilities and benefits of our cleaning robots.
- Customer Training & Certification: Train and certify customers and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of our cleaning robots, ensuring they are fully equipped to operate them efficiently and effectively.
- Technical Services & Troubleshooting: Address all customer inquiries and issues related to the performance of our cleaning robots. Diagnose and resolve faults promptly to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with various internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve both onsite and factory-returned robot issues, ensuring a coordinated and efficient approach to problem-solving.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Stay updated with the latest advancements in cleaning robot technology. Leverage this knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction by providing informed recommendations and insights.
- Customer Feedback Integration: Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback, and communicate valuable insights to the R&D department for ongoing product improvements and updates.
- Travel: Travel to customer sites as needed to provide onsite support, training, and troubleshooting services.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager to support the overall goals and objectives of the team.
Requirements:
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate in electrical, electronic or mechanical fields of study
- 2-3 years of experience in on-site servicing and/or technical support role will be an advantage, preferably in the robotics or automation industry
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support customers
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in cleaning robot technology
- Willingness to travel for onsite support and customer training sessions
- Having Class 3 driving license would be an advantage
