Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll processing for a workforce of 400 employees, including managing new hires, terminations, overtime calculations, allowances, deductions, salary recovery, leave and benefits administration, and employee claims
- Prepare and submit income tax clearance (IR21) for work pass holders
- Compile and submit CPF contributions, IR8A forms, and government-paid claims
- Ensure the accuracy of employee data and implement process control improvements
- Prepare payroll reports and brand billing statements
- Handle submissions for government surveys and assist auditors during the annual audit exercise
- Maintain best practices in payroll to enhance efficiency and processes
- Participate in HR initiatives and projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in hands-on payroll processing for a minimum of 200 employees within an HR department
- Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Experience with Times Software is a plus
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, CPF, and income tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Strong numerical aptitude and a high sense of commitment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
