Contract Period:
- Base Period: January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025 (or after the issuance of LOA, whichever is later)
- Option Period: January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026
- Option to Extend: The Authority may extend the contract for an additional year (January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026), with the same terms and conditions.
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- May occasionally require reporting at 7:00 am
- Service may be required on Saturdays
- Working hours may be adjusted with prior notice
About the Role:
Pei Tong Primary School is looking for an ICT Support Specialist to enhance ICT teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will support the ICT department, develop training programs, manage multimedia resources, and assist with various ICT-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Multimedia and Training:
- Develop and conduct computer training programs for students to ensure proficiency in ICT skills.
- Create and maintain training resources to support educational sessions.
ICT Support:
- Collaborate with the Head of Department (HOD) ICT to develop and implement ICT training programs.
- Train students (Primary 1 to 6) on digital literacy and collaborative online tools.
- Assist in ICT-related training for staff and ICT student leaders.
Equipment Management:
- Handle and assist in the inventory of AV/IT equipment across school locations (e.g., classrooms, hall, parade square).
- Set up and manage Public Address (PA) systems for school events and Zoom meetings/webinars.
Media and Web Support:
- Support photography, videography, and editing tasks for school events.
- Archive, manage, and organize the school's media collection (photos, videos, documents).
- Assist with website design and maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching and working experience in an IT field within a school environment.
- Experience teaching young children/youths is preferred.
Educational Background:
- Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Sites).
- Knowledge of multimedia applications such as Adobe
- Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and SWIIT webpage builder.
- Experience with animation, mobile learning development, basic programming, and video filming/editing.
