This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Receptionist cum Admin Assistant.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE primary school located in Lorong 8 Toa Payoh.
Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Option to Extend: for a further period of one year, 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays : 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break
- Fridays : 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The Services required are set out as follows:
- Provide front-line customer service (deals with walk-ins and phone queries) for School and MOE Kindergarten.
- Assist in events management (such as order of refreshments, preparation of logistics and meeting materials, etc).
- Assist teaching staff on administrative duties such as contacting parents, generation of reports, etc.
- Handling of students who are not feeling well, late comers and early dismissal.
- Receive and verify documents for Financial Assistance Scheme applications and Bursary applications.
- Tracking and maintaining of stocks for stationeries, office equipment, and other materials.
- Assist in administrative duties such as data entry, data collation, goods receiving, filling, printing of name tags, etc.
- Carry out any other administrative duties assigned by School Leaders, Administration Manager and Operation Managers.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’or ‘N’ Level Certificates.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
- Customer service oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good team player with a high level of initiative and independence.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate with prior working experience in schools will be preferred.
