This position reports directly into the Regional HR Director and will be directly responsible for HR management across South East Asia including domestic and travel retail, in addition to leading on strategic HR initiatives for the APAC region. Job Description
- Business partner with APAC leadership team (in Singapore) and local line managers to develop and implement local HR strategies that are appropriate for our business needs; consistent with the overall global HR strategies.
- Business partner with APAC leadership team (in Singapore) and local line managers to identify the development gaps in their team (current vs future needs), in line with the business strategy, keeping in mind the 70:20:10 approach to learning. Ensure all employees have development plans, recorded on Employee Central.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end recruitment process in SEA as required, with the support of the HR Executive.
- Lead on deployment of the key HR activities across stakeholder group including annual performance development review (ePDR) and quarterly talent review processes.
- Oversee monthly payroll for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Partner with our local payroll providers in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Ensure that payroll are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead on regional HR projects and participate in global HR initiatives
- In conjunction with regional HRD and FD ensure overheads budget linked to positions for Singapore is set and adhered to.
- Initiates and drives recruitment processes, recruiting with integrity and ensuring a great candidate experience through the recruitment process.
- Manages employee onboarding activities to ensure a great joining experience for new employees.
Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR managerial position; preferably with SEA experience.
- 2-3 years relevant experience in a HR generalist role with a luxury or consumer goods industry
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information, matters and decisions
