This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Receptionist .
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE primary school located in Lorong Ah Soo.
Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays : 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of ½ hour lunch break
- Fridays : 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of ½ hour lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The Services required are set out as follows:
- Reception duties - Handle calls (within 3 rings), walk-in enquiries, good receiving, school mails, parcels dispatch etc.
- Retrieve phone messages and inform respective personnel (first thing in the morning).
- Attending and addressing pupil’s needs.
- Assist staff in the loading of resources
- Assist staff in the conducting of surveys.
- Sorting and ensuring the uniform cupboard is neat and tidy.
- Any other admin duties or task assigned by Admin Manager (AM), Admin Executive (AE), Operations Manager (OM), School Leaders (SLs) and Key Personnel (KPs).
- The school may request staff to be involved in urgent and important duties, e.g. /during Evacuation, Emergencies.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Minimum GCE O-level education.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position in local schools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and another language.
- A team player who works well with other colleagues.
