This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Support Operational Functions.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE secondary school located in Margaret Drive.
Contract Period: From 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025.
Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2026
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays : 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
- Fridays : 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The Services required are set out as follows:
1. To unlock all classroom doors at level 1 to level 6 daily, conduct checks and lock up designated classrooms after school ends daily.
2. To monitor students outside designated School Gate from 7:00am to 8:00am daily.
3. To clean assigned rooms daily. A sample schedule is given below:
a. 6 Science laboratories and preparation rooms
b. 2-3 Special Rooms (e.g. Maker Space)
4. To perform light gardening duties daily (e.g. weeding, planting, watering and maintaining potted plants)
5. To check and clear places where mosquitos may breed on a daily basis and conduct weekly perimeter checks for mosquito breeding.
6. To perform any other assigned duties assigned from time to time:
a. To carry out logistics support duties for school events and activities.
b. To assist in the arrangement of suitable plants to meet the requirements of major school functions such as Speech Day, National Day and etc.
To work closely with the pest control contractor and National Environment Agency personnel on mosquito breeding prevention measures.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Must be fluent in English
- Preferably have 5 years of relevant experience
