Job Summary
The Outdoor Sales Representative will drive sales by actively engaging with potential and existing clients in the field using their own bike. This role involves prospecting, relationship management, and promoting our products or services to meet sales targets. The position offers a base salary plus a performance-based commission structure, rewarding successful achievement of sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Sales and Business Development:Utilize your own bike to travel to various locations and engage with potential and existing clients.
Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets, expanding market reach and increasing sales volume.
- Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular visits and follow-ups.
Address client inquiries, provide customized solutions, and resolve issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Market and Competitor Analysis:Stay informed about local market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Use insights to adapt sales strategies and improve effectiveness in reaching sales targets.
- Sales Reporting and Administration:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Handle administrative tasks related to sales transactions, including order processing and documentation.
- Product Knowledge and Training:Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products or services and their benefits.
Stay updated on product developments and industry advancements to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing team to align field sales efforts with promotional campaigns and marketing strategies.
Coordinate with internal teams, such as customer service and product development, to address client needs and feedback.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous sales experience, especially in an outdoor or field-based role, is advantageous.
- Skills:Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable bike in good working condition.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary + Commission: Performance-based commission structure with earnings tied to achieving sales targets and goals. Details on target commissions will be provided during the interview process.
