We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our Human Resources Leadership team (HRLT) at INSEAD. The jobholder will serve as HR Business Partner to the departments Degree Programmes, Executive Education and Marketing & Recruitment. Based at our Asia Campus in Singapore, this role will be reporting to the Chief People Officer of INSEAD. This permanent, full-time position has a global scope, encompassing all INSEAD campuses.
Key responsibilities include:
Contribute to the school’s HR Strategy and devise the department’s HR strategy
- Together with the HRLT, create and/or contribute to the HR strategy; align HR strategy with business strategy.
- Develop a departmental HR strategy in line with the school's and department's business strategy and the school’s HR strategy.
Provide internal HR “consultancy”
- Coach business leaders regarding strategic HR issues such as HR strategy, organizational design, organisational efficiency improvement, governance, leadership, people management and development, complex employee relations issues etc.
- Coach leaders to enact superior performance and learning management practices; drive improvement in their individual and team people management practices, as necessary; act, for clients, as team facilitation expert.
- Guide businesses to adopt HR TPSP (Tools, Processes, Systems, Solutions) that drive the delivery of the business and HR strategy and build the required culture. Enable change through consultation with business leaders and HR colleagues.
- Facilitate and deliver working sessions, seminars, trainings etc.
Lead the HR solution diagnostic and co-design the solutions in support of the HR Expertise Teams
- Diagnose business issues in the department and liaise with COE (when necessary) to propose appropriate HR solutions that fit the needs, goals, and aims of business lines, and the school as a whole.
Supervise HR Delivery
- The HRBP is the “one stop shop” for business leaders with regard to all HR services to the staff of her/his department.
HR Director for the Singapore Campus
- The HRBP acts as HR Director for the Singapore Campus.
We are seeking a candidate who meets the following profile:
- Bachelor or Master Degree (HR, Economics, or Law preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a responsible HR position within a major multinational organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and operational advice to management and staff.
- Exceptional knowledge of Singapore Labour Law. Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Labour Law and French is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a multicultural and international environment, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability to diverse cultures.
- Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written, ensuring effective communication in our diverse, global community.
