Job Description:
- Handle month-end closing, full set of accounts
- Prepare month-end and year-end closing documents such as reconciliation and audit schedules
- Perform accurate data entries in MYOB accounting system
- Update cash book, prepare bank reconciliation and handle other banking related matters
- Prepare payments in an accurate and timely manner
- Responsible for AR invoicing and collections
- Handle GST filing, CPF & AIS & other Submission and corporate tax matter
- Prepare monthly project costing report, other project report
- Liaise with Auditors and Bankers
- Ensure company’s books are kept in accordance with the accounting standards
- Perform of HR function: ensure all payroll functions are in accordance with the statutory compliance requirements, and with Company’s policies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy and/or diploma with at least 4-5 years of related experience
- Proficient in MYOB Accounting System, Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently, self-motivated.
- Possess strong initiative, problem-solving ability, analytical and numeracy skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
- Able to start work immediately or short notice
