Overview of the Role: The role supports 2 functions - Corporate IT and Network Services. The candidate is expected to be responsible for overseeing and assisting with all corporate IT matters, involved in planning, installing, administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining various deployments of advanced visualization software. The candidate will deliver high-quality customer support, demonstrating a strong sense of professionalism and expertise.


This role requires the incumbent to be on standby duties (24/7), support over the weekends and public holidays.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Windows operating systems and software on end-user workstations.
  • Maintain system and network infrastructure and hardware systems; diagnosing network problems and implementing effective remedy actions.
  • Managing and assigning access rights and permissions.
  • Managing necessary backup systems for the network.
  • Provide management with timely cybersecurity updates and remediation plans.
  • Set up and replace hardware, including workstations, laptops, screens, network cables, etc.
  • Manage IT inventory (fixed assets recording) for audit purposes.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to email, networks, peripherals, printing, meeting rooms, access control systems, servers, CCTV, and more.
  • Collaborate with external support vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage and support IT projects and ERP implementation, migration of data to new system.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory, disk encryption, and antivirus software.
  • Assist users with VPN connectivity and remote access solutions.
  • Participate in creating documentation, perform self-assessment for IT audits, and following established IT procedures and guidelines.
  • Contribute to discussions and presentations to enhance the IT infrastructure.
  • Provide planning and pre-sale support for advanced visualization software deployments.
  • Install, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced visualization software installations.
  • Ensure timely issue resolution, especially in medical environments, while prioritizing customer satisfaction and urgency. Escalate issues to the US support team when necessary.
  • Document troubleshooting efforts and collaborate with hospital IT personnel, senior engineers, and the US support team.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Continuously improve personal productivity by enhancing product knowledge through formal training and on-the-job experience.
  • Train colleagues and end-users on the administration of advanced visualization software.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of experience in service desk support, including troubleshooting Windows ecosystems, software, and hardware for end-users.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop support, specifically Microsoft Windows and Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems to manage incidents and service requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning and professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in IT, with a strong preference for experience in PACS, 3D post-processing, or advanced visualization software.
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring server and workstation hardware, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, SQL, VMs, RAID technology, SSL, and Microsoft RDS (including licensing and HTML5 configurations).
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, Linux, networking, data protection, and software encryption is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Experience working in global teams across different time zones is a valuable asset.
