Role
We are looking for a Marketing Executive with a genuine interest in improving the landscape for education. You will work closely with the Founders to execute strategic marketing initiatives with the objective of creating a strong brand presence, driving sales growth and supporting the overall business objectives. This role is ideal for a passionate and proactive individual looking to further develop their marketing skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and promotional collateral.
- Ensure that all content aligns with the company’s brand voice and objectives.
Digital Marketing
- Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media efforts.
- Monitor and manage the company’s social media platforms, engaging with the community and responding to inquiries made via social media in a timely manner.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the company website, ensuring content is fresh and relevant.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in identifying new marketing opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the company’s reach.
Event Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Help coordinate logistics and manage communications to ensure the smooth execution of events.
- Support post-event follow-ups and evaluations to measure success and gather feedback.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a startup environment or related industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute new ideas and solutions.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
