About Our Client
My client is a global industrial solutions provider, that offers a diverse range of products across various sectors, including manufacturing, energy, and transportation.
One of its specialised business units focuses on lifting and material handling, providing hoists, winches, and other equipment designed to ensure safe and efficient handling of heavy loads in demanding environments.
Job Description
- Drive Sales and Revenue: Focus on both direct sales and selling through channel partners for Material Handling products across the South East Asia (SEA) region.
- Business Development and Negotiation: Lead sales and business development efforts, including managing negotiations with partners and expanding the strong customer base for the Material Handling Business Unit.
- Support and Training: Work closely with Shanghai HQ to pick up product knowledge to conduct training to distributors and customers; and be involved in proposal preparation.
- Reporting and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of pricing and sales, submit monthly business reports, and ensure adherence to company policies and business ethics.
The Successful Applicant
- About 4 years of B2B Sales/Business Development opportunities, with about 1 year of regional exposure
- Frequent overseas travelling is required (about 50%) to SEA region
- Experienced in direct sales and channel partner management
- Strong customer network across relevant industries - manufacturing companies, construction firms, logistics and warehousing businesses, mining and energy sectors, ports and shipping companies, and utilities and infrastructure companies.
