We are looking for a Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer who is responsible for overseeing and integrating the marketing and sustainability strategies of the organization. This executive role focuses on driving brand growth, customer engagement, and aligning the company’s business practices with environmental and social sustainability goals. The CMSO collaborates closely with the leadership team to ensure that marketing efforts and sustainability initiatives support the company's mission, values, and long-term objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, market positioning, and customer engagement.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives that promote environmental responsibility, reduce the company’s carbon footprint, and support social impact goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into all aspects of business operations, products, and services.
  • Oversee the marketing team, ensuring that digital, content, and traditional marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and continuous improvement in marketing and sustainability practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, industry groups, and sustainability organizations.
  • Report on the progress of marketing and sustainability initiatives to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in sustainability and marketing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, sustainability, or a related field, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability practices, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to drive change and lead initiatives that align with both business goals and sustainability objectives.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
