Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for developing and fostering business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the residences and hotel. The individual also develops strategic action plans for residences to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
The Role
Sales activities
- Conduct long stay residences' or hotel inspections for clients
- Conduct negotiation of sales contracts
- Develop consultative selling and upselling strategies to maximise room sales
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
- Conduct minimum 20 sales activities per week including sales call, entertainment and site inspections
- Collaborate with relevant departments to meet guests' and/or customers' requirements in the sales contracts
- Handles and responds to escalated guest and/or customer enquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Meet or exceed individual and department sales target that is set by the management
- Accurately forecast the covers and revenues for each client
- Analyse competitor landscape and customer demand to identify sales opportunities
Talent Profile
- Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Minimum of 1 years' sales experience in luxury residences or real estate industry
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office including words, excel, power point
- Knowledge in Opera Cloud
