Responsibilities:
- Oversee and organize the daily activities of the ocean freight team and fix any issues that come up.
- Manage and guide the Ocean operation team to make sure customers are very happy.
- Build and keep good connections with shipping companies, port operators, and other important people.
- Engage with the approved sellers and co-loaders regarding the costs, services, and conditions to optimize earnings from Ocean GP every month.
- Engage in existing and future bidding initiatives when appropriate.
- Make changes to improve how things work and to provide better service.
- Keep an eye on changes in the industry and rules that impact shipping goods by sea.
- Make reports and analyze how well the department is doing for the higher-ups.
- Make sure to follow all the rules for international trade and shipping.
- Support in the development of its maritime business and the management of shipping pathways.
- Other tasks given by management, if there are any.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or other relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years of Sales experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding / 3PL Industry
- A team Leading and self-motivated individual
- Ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders
