Role:
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, responsible for assisting management with all corporate finance matters for the Group, including banking and treasury-related activities.
Responsibilities:
· To assist in origination, due diligence & execution of any new investment opportunities including potential acquisitions, mergers or Joint ventures.
· To undertake financial analysis of any new business opportunity and make appropriate recommendations to management.
· To monitor industry trends & competitive landscape.
· To undertake preliminary background checks on counterparties.
· To liaise with various external advisors, i.e. Legal firms, Corp Advisors, Banks
· To coordinate with the Group Financial Controller on the Group’s overall financial cashflow position.
Qualifications:
· Recent graduates and individuals with up to 3+ years of experience in banking, corporate advisory firms, or accounting firms.
· Relevant Degree in Accounting/Finance/Law/Banking or CFA
· Clear track record of ability to be a self-starter with an analytical & problem-solving mindset
· Experienced in data mining, investment research & analysis
· Experienced in valuation modelling & methodologies
· Experienced in Financial modelling & cash flow projections
· Experienced in preparation of Pitchbooks & Proposals
· Must have accounting skills.
