Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and articulate Marketing Communications Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations strategies that elevate our brand presence, engage with our audience, and strengthen and solidify our brand position in the retail watch industry. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Advertising
- Digital media planning strategy and management on media publishers’ sites
- Negotiation of advertising rates, ensuring competitiveness
- Supervision of communication of offline & online advertisement plans within internal & external stakeholders
Asset Creation
- Create compelling press releases, articles, and content highlighting brands’ history and product offerings. Collaborate with brand partners to ensure seamless alignment with broader campaign strategies
- Develop comprehensive press kits, including press releases and supporting assets
- Oversee the production of high-quality photography
- Manage video production to create engaging visual content
- Dissemination of Press Kits regionally
Event
- Assist in planning and executing events, product launches, and media engagements
Internal Communications:
- Assist with corporate communications to ensure consistent messaging across the organization
- Provide content and assets for the holding company's e-newsletter, ensuring alignment with overall communication strategies and branding guidelines
Public Relations
- Develop and implement public relations strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and Key Opinion Leaders. Proactively pitch stories and secure high-quality media coverage
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage and identify opportunities for brand growth
Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to inform public relations strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Prepare monthly public relations clippings and comprehensive reports to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
Social Media Management
- Work with the digital marketing team to develop and execute engaging content that resonates with our audience (LinkedIn)
Others
- Participate in the execution of other marketing activities
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public relations or communications role, preferably within the luxury or retail sectors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong network of media contacts within the luxury, lifestyle, and horology industries.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful public relations campaigns.
- Experience in crisis communication and managing media inquiries under pressure.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for luxury watches and a deep understanding of the horological landscape is a plus
