In this position as a Treaty Account Executive, you will be reporting into the HOD and work alongside with a small team. In this position, you will be tasked with the renewal of existing portfolio and acquisition of new business, liaising/negotiating with reinsurers for lead terms and support.
The ideal incumbent will also be expected to prepare key renewal information including Risk Profile, Loss Profile, Premium & Loss Statistics, Cat Aggregate Reports, etc from primary and source data.
You will be expected to provide portfolio analysis on a quarterly basis or as required and handle monthly/quarterly declaration listings of dedicated facilities/treaties. The ideal incumbent will also be expected to handle/negotiate on complicated large claims.
skills & experience required
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the reinsurance industry - open to both fac & treaty background
- Independent, proactive, efficient, adaptable to changes
- Highly meticulous and ability to work with database/excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
