Job scope

• Overall Responsibility for all construction activities with respect to performance, procedure, and making recommendations to project managers for improvements and corrective actions.
• Manage Contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code and standards, and construction schedule and cost.
• Interface and Coordinate with Engineering supporting construction activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction.
• Oversee the effective management of project activities to assure timely delivery and low wastage.
• Manage and lead a group of engineers.
• Co-ordination with other departments on issues affecting project works.
• Liaise with government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers etc.

Key job responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to work in a lean environment where you will be involved in the full cycle of investment and asset management such as site acquisition, underwriting and due diligence, asset management and divestment.

Your main responsibilities will include deal origination, business case proposal, deal execution, asset and fund management as well as compliance and governance.

You will be sourcing and evaluating of new business cases which includes but not limited to Green/brown field acquisition or development, Divestment, Asset Enhancement, Joint Venture opportunities, research and understand and penetrate new markets or product type. You will proactively suggest asset enhancement initiatives and strategic value creation initiatives (including refinancing, divestment or operational enhancement) and evaluation of new pipelines etc.

Requirements :

You possess a Degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Finance or Business or related field from a recognised tertiary provider and have at least 6 years of experience in related investment scope such as capital budgeting and related analysis i.e., IRR, NPV, DCF, Yields.

You possess solid understanding of financial investment evaluation and capital decision making in the Industrial or logistics real estate industry. You are commercially sound with knowledge of Asia real estate market including properties, rents, cost structures etc. You are highly numerical with advanced financial modelling skillsets.
