We’re looking for a passionate Service Engineer who loves learning, problem-solving, and making sure lab equipment runs perfectly!

What You'll Do:

• Learn & Master a variety of laboratory equipment—installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting it like a pro.
• Diagnose & Fix equipment issues using logical, step-by-step approaches, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to get the best technical support when you need it.
• Keep Customers Happy by making sure their systems are up and running ASAP and handling repairs with care and urgency.
• Document & Remember fixes and solutions so future repairs can be done even faster!

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields), Biomedical Science, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory or scientific equipment is a bonus, but those who are independent with a passion for learning are welcome.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical approach to solving technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and manufacturers effectively.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for ensuring equipment runs smoothly and minimizing downtime.

Role & responsibilities:

• Support the Senior/ Service & Commissioning Engineer on site.
• Provide technical expertise and carryout service order assignments from the Service & Commissioning Manager/ Service & Commissioning Coordinator
• Field representative of the company to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, repair, test, and return equipment to service as required or instructed by a service order in a safe and effective manner.
• Create daily reports about the performed service tasks and all related issues and send them to the Service Mailbox
• Complete all the required documentation & write reports regarding the work

Requirements:

• **Minimum a Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or equivalent
• Good, basic, technical insight into electrical, hydraulic and basic mechanical engineering fundamentals
• **1yr of relevant experience in Marine/Oil & Gas industry
• No experience can apply as on-the-job training is provided
• Good communication skills
• Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
• Basic understanding of programming and industrial control systems is a plus
• Willing to travel abroad heavily
• Willing to work overtime
• Having a great desire to gain more knowledge and skills
• Positive, solution driven, hands on attitude.
• Can work well in a team but having a great level of self-management and independence

• Basic up to $3,600 + HP Allowance: $60 + Bonus (3 Months)
• Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
• Working location at Tuas Avenue (Company transport is provided)

Job Scope:

• Provide IT helpdesk and end-user support
• Offer technical assistance for desktops, laptops, iPads, and in-house applications
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows OS and applications
• Manage and resolve issues with networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Deploy and maintain workstations and IT equipment
• Administer VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and MS SQL
• Oversee IT hardware and software inventory
• Assist with IT hardware procurement and administrative tasks
• Coordinate with external vendors for issue resolution

Requirements:

• Min 2 - 3 years relevant experiences in IT Engineer/support field
• IT function in both software and hardware
